Bear, a 45-year-old divorced man, lives on wheels. His home is literally a van, with which he drives several kilometers a day around Barcelona looking for parking, offering clandestine tours to tourists, sweetening reality with fantastical stories he tells his daughter, and lying to his ex to avoid losing custody.

Bear keeps telling himself that this way of life is only temporary…

With the help of a few neighbors, an undocumented immigrant, and a 80s nostalgia-driven heavy metal fan, he tries to regain financial and familial stability, thanks to a waitress he has just met, Penélope.

But when his ex's new partner shows up and they invite him to the wedding, Bear spirals into a crisis and embarks on a reckless journey, making mistake after mistake until he crashes.

Only when he hits rock bottom and loses the little he has left does he realize he must come to a screeching halt, reset the odometer, and set his life on the right course once and for all.
