Diane Jobson (80), Bob Marley's former right-hand woman and lawyer, is an iconic Jamaican character known as the Rasta Lawyer, or Poor People's Lawyer, who dedicates her day-to-day life to fighting for the fundamental rights of the ghetto poor. In the twilight of her life, she shares weekends with her best friend Sally (83) as she prepares to make the decision to retire in her 80s. The two friends spend their time smoking marijuana and reflecting on the passage of time and the meaning of growing old.
