A Whole Life

Sabrina, a 5-year-old Colombian girl, moves to Spain with her mother, Ángela, in a sudden journey she doesn't understand. Ángela promises her a meeting with her father, but the reality in their new shared apartment in Barcelona overwhelms her. Sabrina becomes more withdrawn, facing the cultural clash of her surroundings: the park, the neighbours, other children, and the public call offices her mother visits daily in search of work. Ángela's undocumented status complicates everything. As Sabrina struggles to understand, her father in Madrid rejects her. This challenging process forces Sabrina to grow up too quickly, facing a new reality.
