Pheasant Island is the smallest condominium in the world, a river islet near the mouth of the Bidasoa (natural border between Spain and France) that belongs 6 months to one country and 6 months to the other. When a person's lifeless body appears on the shore, in the midst of the celebration of the change of sovereignty between Spain and France, neither of the two countries wants to take over. Only Laida, a young woman who lives between Irun and Hendaia, and who has witnessed this tragic event, will closely follow the case to put pressure on the authorities, even if this means a conflict in her relationship with Sambou.
