Mariama holds a letter with trembling hands. Nervous, she enters the family apartment. The atmosphere overwhelms her, and she takes refuge in her room. Determined, she returns to the living room and announces: "I have something to tell you." Her gaze evokes a memory from 2005, when she was 7 years old. Through a Mini-DV tape, we see Mariama and her brother Assane playing while their uncle records them. Omar obsessively focuses on Mariama, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Back in the present, Mariama reads a letter revealing that she was sexually abused by Uncle Omar. The letter expresses her personal experience and denounces the taboo surrounding child sexual abuse.
