For one summer, teenager Diana dedicates herself to helping her childhood friend's family – an unconventional, feminine community – to bring back to life an abandoned house in their village to settle in. Despite being welcomed and familiar there, among the influence of fairytales and seasonal superstition, she will harshly come to terms with the damaged nature of her own maternal biological ties. This will lead Diana to question, through her actions: what does belonging feel or look like?
