Dissection of an Incoherence in Crisis delves into the human inability to accept the superiority of others: why can't we acknowledge that others might know more than us or be more successful? Irrational envy and the denial of one's own inferiority form the foundation of this moral essay, explored through the analytical dissection of two realistic and everyday family scenes. In one, three girls engage in a trivial argument over how to make a paper aeroplane. In the other, three adults engage in a sophisticated debate about the details of a historical event. While these problems seem worlds apart, they share a common core: the inability of two central characters, Aran, and Cesc, her father.
